About

The Offspring Photo Meet gathers together some top photography experts to impart their wisdom and advice to an audience of professional and aspiring image-makers.

A one-of-a-kind event in the creative heart of one of the world’s leading photography capitals, attendees will receive tailor-made advice in one-to-one portfolio reviews  with experts drawn from across the industry, together with talks, workshops, screenings and organised networking opportunities, where they’ll learn more about the dynamics of the contemporary photography market.

Offspring Photo Meet is the brainchild of award-winning photographer Mimi Mollica and a team of creative professionals including Monica Allende, a freelance picture editor, curator, writer, and former photo editor of Sunday Times Magazine, Johanna Neurath, design director and commissioning editor at Thames & Hudson, Frede Spencer, director of Twenty Twenty photography agency, and Simon Bainbridge, editorial director of British Journal of Photography.

-Kate Edwards
Its the energy and the genuine, open discussion about photography that makes photomeet such a distinctive festival.   Its serious in its intent but relaxed and fun in its approach and always raises questions, promotes ideas and leads to links with great new photographers and other professionals.  You’ve got to be there!

-Helen Trompeteler
Since joining the first edition of Offspring Photo Meet in 2015, it soon became one of my favourite events in the
photography calendar. I have always been impressed by the talented photographers I meet through this event, and it
has become a key forum for me to discover and follow new work. Each edition of Offspring Photo Meet is brought
together with such warmth, passion and fun by everyone involved. It’s a really enriching event to be part of each year.
