Kim Knoppers is art historian and a curator at Foam, photography museum in Amsterdam. In this role she has worked on several solo exhibitions including Raphaël Dallaporta, Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs, Anne de Vries, Jan Hoek, Lorenzo Vitturi, Jan Rosseel, Melanie Bonajo, Adam Broomberg & Oliver Chanarin and Geert Goiris. She also curated group exhibitions like Re-Search, Collaborate: On Artists’ Collectives, Collectivism.Collectives and their Quest for Value and was working with photographic archives from Istanbul, Teheran and Shköder. She is also interested in artists’ collectives and DIY strategies. Kim writes on a regular base for Foam Magazine and Unseen Magazine. She is founder and curator of Artists’ Recipes which explores creativity at the heart of art and food. She lives and works in Amsterdam and stays on a regular base in Istanbul.
