The Family

The primordial force, the ones we couldn’t do without, where everything started, the strength, the romance, the love that made the Offspring Photo Meet a reality. Ours is a big family and together we’ll do great things!
The Offspring Photo Meet started naturally from the pressing will to work together with like-minded people. Friends and colleagues called by Mimi Mollica united to create a different environment where we could meet, discover and connect here in London. From the ground up, we shared the same vision and worked towards a unique photography event. We initially set up in a great location on Regent’s Canal in East London and started a two-days of portfolio reviews, talks, seminars and projections. We also launched our Best Portfolio Award which we have found out means a lot for the three winners! It hasn’t been easy to organise all this,  and putting together strong personalities with strong ideas and a strong sense of belonging to the cause meant many meetings, meals, drinks and a lot of talking! We loved it all!

The first Offspring Photo Meet was in March 2015, seven months later in October we held the second one and we are now close to our third May ’16 edition – in collaboration with Photo London!!

We are determined to do more and better events and only your involvement and feedback will make this a reality, so please engage with us, talk to us, propose to us and help this family grow bigger and stronger!

We are: Monica Allende, Simon Bainbridge, Tony Bell, Helene Binet, Giacomo Brunelli, Polly Braden, Tim Clark, Gary Cohen, Kate Edwards, Brandei Estes, George Georgiou, Lydia Goldblatt, Pal Hansen, Eleanor Macnair, Mimi Mollica, Johanna Neurath, Laura Pannack, Lou Siroy, Frede Spencer, Helen Trompeteler & Muir Vidler
